Every student participating in the concert should be in the chapel by 6:40 on Friday night, ready for devotion and line up. 

Each spring MLS recognizes our students who receive athletic, music, and financial scholarships or grants. This celebration focuses mainly on seniors, but returning students are also recognized. We also bid farewell to departing faculty and staff. We dedicate time during exam week and our commencement activities for those awards and recognition.  MLS will depart from past practice to allow for these days of recognition to focus on a different group each day. Graduate scholarship and grant recognition will not be a part of the graduation service and exercise.

The schedule for those awards is as follows:

Tuesday, May 20 after chapel - Recognition of athletic and music awards
Wednesday, May 21 after chapel - Recognition of graduating students who will be attending various colleges and universities and returning students receiving awards
Thursday, May 22 after chapel - Recognition of graduating students who will be attending Martin Luther College
Friday, May 23 after chapel - Recognition of departing faculty and staff
Friday, May 23 during the Commencement Concert - Recognition of scholarships and grants for returning students and Martin Luther College bound graduates as well as departing faculty and staff

MLS families are welcome to join us via livestream for our chapel and awards each week day. We also invite you to be a part of our Commencement Concert in person or online at 7 p.m. on Friday evening.

The 2025-2026 Academic Calendar has been approved by the Governing Board.
