Mrs. Schreiner Receives Call

Mrs. Kelly Schreiner, who serves as an Administrative Assistant in our Admissions Department, has received a divine call to teach 3rd grade at St. Paul's Lutheran School in Saginaw. Please keep the Schreiners in your prayers as they consider her service to our Savior at MLS and St. Paul's.

Make Up Work

Please be sure to check due dates on the make-up work spreadsheet. All make-up work assigned, from today on, will be due by the end of Period 10 on Monday, December 15th.

Announcing MLS Children's Theatre 2026

Our Children's Theatre 2026 production is The Enchanted Bookshop by Todd Wallinger.

During the day, A Likely Story may look like any other used bookstore. But at night, it’s a place where magic happens. That’s when the characters inside the books come alive.

Six of those characters — Dorothy Gale, Robin Hood, Pollyanna, Sherlock Holmes, Heidi, and Tom Sawyer — long to help Margie, the scatterbrained owner, save her struggling store. But they’re not allowed to leave the building or be seen by human eyes. So when a pair of smugglers comes looking for a stolen necklace hidden inside one of the books, the characters are torn. Should they warn Margie and risk disappearing forever? Or can they find a way to defeat the crooks without being seen?

Audition information will come out after Christmas break.

Exam Schedule

Exam week begins on December 15 and is coming up quickly! Follow the link to see the schedule for exam week, including your daily exams, room locations, choir rehearsals, practices, and chapel times. Remember to continue to prepare and use your God-given abilities to the glory of him who gives us all things!

Advent Worship

Please take the opportunity to worship during Advent. Services are held on Dec. 3, 3:30 and 6:30; Dec. 10, 6:30; and Dec. 17, 3:30 and 6:30. Buses leave at 3:15 and 6:15.

Coat Drive

Do you want to Share the Warmth this winter? After Thanksgiving break, from December 1st to 12th, MLS is hosting a coat drive to support the Caring Closet in Saginaw.

Donate new or gently used hats, scarves, coats, or gloves. Drop off your items at the Administration Office, where bins will be separated by class. The class with the most donations will win a sweatpants day at school! Let's work together to make a difference in our community this winter.

The Nest is Open for Business!

Starting after Thanksgiving, the MLS school store—The Nest (formerly known as The Cardinal’s Nest)—will be open on Wednesdays from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Stop by and check out our wide variety of items, including new sweatpants, fan chains, Christmas ornaments, sweatshirts, and much more!

During the holiday season, we’ll also have Christmas candy for anyone who stops in. Come visit and see what’s new at The Nest!
